Vision and purpose

More playtime
over screen time.

Helping every player unlock their true sporting potential. Through iconic coaches, technology and year round participation, Kabuni connects families, schools and communities with a pathway from school to stadium — so more children play more often, with a clear route to progress.

Our ambition

Ten sports. Ten countries. Ten years.

  • A pathway every year. Discover talent, develop players and create opportunities to compete, win medals, awards and trophies, and progress from school to stadium.
  • Ten sports. Ten countries. Ten years. Starting with cricket in India, our ambition is to grow participation and opportunity sport by sport and country by country.
  • A billion families. Our ambition is to positively impact a billion families through more playtime, stronger communities and opportunities to unlock sporting potential.
Today: cricket in India. Everything above beyond that is an ambition, not a current achievement or guaranteed outcome.

To keep that ambition honest, our founder has written the letter he hopes to send one day — imagining the moment the mission is complete.

The end game

The letter I hope to send one day.

“My journey started at my school on Kabuni.”

I have already written the resignation letter I hope to send one day.

It begins when an athlete stands on the Olympic podium and explains that their journey started at school through Kabuni.

That is how I will know the mission is complete.

Yes, we are building permanent teams, valuable sporting intellectual property and a commercial platform with global potential.

But the real end game is bigger.

It is creating billions of hours of playtime and giving young people, wherever they start, the opportunity to be seen, coached, believed in and able to unlock their true sporting potential.

Written in advance for the day the mission is complete. This is not a current resignation.

The Kabuni advantage

One intelligence layer.
Built into the wicket.

Cricket begins with the stumps. The Kabuni connected wicket puts one intelligence layer inside the stumps and bails themselves — engineered to see every movement and follow every ball. It is the first of a family of Kabuni devices under development, built sport by sport.

The opportunity

A permanent
franchise interest.

50%Proposed TeamCo equity
alongside Kabuni

Franchise ownership. Not sponsorship.

An opportunity to own 50% of a permanent local TeamCo, alongside Kabuni, subject to the definitive franchise agreements.

Commercial value

Build a team with enduring value.

  • Academy and player development income opportunities
  • Team sponsorship, merchandise and licensing
  • Agreed league, media and event distributions
  • Growing team and brand equity
Generational impact

Make a measurable local difference.

  • More children playing regularly
  • Better access to structured coaching
  • Visible pathways for talented players
  • More opportunities for girls
The structure

A permanent franchise. A shared local team company.

Each franchise is permanent. The local team company is proposed to be owned 50% by the buyer and 50% by Kabuni. The franchise fee secures the franchise itself; investment in the team company funds its growth. They are two distinct parts of the agreement.

The rights

Multisport, built to grow.

Agreed multisport rights for the boys’ and men’s teams in your territory, with the first right to acquire the girls’ and women’s franchise when it launches there.

The business

More than match day.

Academies, coaching, local sponsorship, merchandise, content and agreed league distributions.

League partnerships

Build your brand
around more playtime.

Kabuni Premier League brings together brands that want to grow through sport and organisations that can help more families play. Starting with Season One in India, we are building relationships across competition, coaching, schools, technology and year round participation.

League sponsors

Build brand visibility and engagement through agreed league and category rights, events, content and participation programmes.

League partners

Help deliver the league through expertise, products, services or technology across coaching, apparel, equipment, connectivity and events. Partnerships can combine financial investment with practical delivery.

For international brands entering or expanding in India, and Indian brands with global ambitions, KPL offers an opportunity to build a relationship from the first season. Our ambition spans ten sports, ten countries and ten years, with additional rights and expansion agreed as the platform develops.
